Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) 3D printing has been widely applied in HJ's injection mold manufacturing.
For certain products with long production cycles and high deformation requirements, we install inserts with conformal cooling channels in areas that are difficult to cool. These inserts are manufactured using DMLS technology, which can significantly shorten the injection molding cycle, reduce product deformation, and thus achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
The machining size range of DMLS is approximately 270270360mm. Hybrid processing methods can save the cost of insert tools. The metal 3D printing material requires only 1.2709 mm thickness, with a hardness of 48-52 HRC, and the minimum distance between the cooling water and the steel is 2mm.
